New Features in version 2.06
- In the most recent test release of JMRI (5.9.1), three additional fields were added to car lines in the csv files created by OperationsPro. The new fields are; RWL (return when loaded) location name, RWL (return when loaded) track name, & route path. MR SLAM Formatter has been updated to support displaying the RWL location & track name fields. Support for the route path field will be added in a future release.
- At the request of user Kelly, I added a switch list option to suppress the train departure message. This option already existed for manifests.
- User Kelly requested an option to suppress printing the train direction of travel message on switch lists. There was an option to suppress the arrival/departure times, but he wanted to suppress the whole line, so this has been added.
- Added a button to the change car field names window to restore the field names back to their default values.
- To provide additional formatting flexibility, kernel & car Tags have been added to the list of fields in the car preferences window. Instead of appending this information to the car number and car type fields, you can now assign these to their own column in the manifest and switch list.
- At the request of user Brian K., added a field called kernel size to the list of fields that are available in the cars preference window to select.
Bug Fixes
- On switch lists I suppressed the printing of a train’s departure time unless the train originates at the switch list’s location. I recently learned that the departure time reported by JMRI on switch lists is the departing time from the originating location. Thanks to user Charles R. and Jim K. for pointing this out.
- In the most recent test release of JMRI (5.9.1), three additional fields were added to car lines in the csv files created by OperationsPro that generated an error in MR SLAM Formatter that prevented it from generating manifests from csvs generated by the new JMRI version. This has been fixed.
