Linux Installation
- To be developed – Hoping for user help as I don’t have Linux running on any of my computers.
Installation Instructions for car Images
First you must have installed MR SLAM Formatter version 2.07.18-beta or later to use car images. During the program’s installation, a folder named “car images” is created in the MR SLAM Formatter folder, which is located in your home directory on your computer. This download provides the same basic car images as are included with the program download. If you had car images and deleted them, or declined to install them with the program, then the car images folder is empty.
- Locate the compressed file that you downloaded from the website.
- On a Windows PC, right click on the file and select “Extract All”. On a Macintosh, double click the file’s icon to extract the file. You will see a new folder created.
- Open the new car images folder and copy the image files.
- Navigate to the MR SLAM Formatter folder on your computer and open it. Then locate the “car images” folder and open it. Paste the car images files into the folder.
That’s all there is to it. These car images are now available to use with MR SLAM Formatter. You can add additional image files of your own creation by following the instructions in the program’s users manual.
