While this release is mostly a bug fix, I did add a couple of nice new features that I hope user’s find useful.
New Features in version 1.05
- In the car & loco preference windows, the tally of the width of the selected fields now shows an estimate of the remaining number of characters that will fit on a line.
- The program now offers the option to, on program shut down, delete the pdf files created by MR SLAM Formatter in the pdf folders for manifests & switch lists. There is a preference setting for this option.
Bug fixes
- Fixed a bug where the tally of the width of the selected fields, and thus the warning message, in the car & loco preferences window was not correctly accounting for page size, page orientation, or 2 columns/page.
- Fixed a bug where with some page sizes, the lines in the pdf header and footer could appear as dashed lines instead of solid lines.
- Fixed a bug introduced in version 1.04 where train, route, and switch list comments were printed in a smaller font than the car and loco data lines.
- In 2 column/page mode train headers & departure lines are broken into 2 lines to reduce the potential for the information to spill beyond the available space.
