I am excited that as of today, MR SLAM Formatter version 1.03 has been downloaded 99 times. That is amazing to me and I am thrilled that so many have taken time to download and give the program a try. I hope you are finding it useful. Based on feedback from users I have updated the program with new capabilities. I hope users will find the new version even more useful for formatting their JMRI created manifests and switch lists.
New Features in version 1.04
- The program now saves the state of the “Auto process files”, “open PDF after creation”, and “print PDF after creation” check boxes.
- As an optional way to execute MR SLAM Formatter, a Jython script that runs MR SLAM Formatter is now included in the download. The script may be run from the JMRI scripting window, attached to a button on PanelProTM, or set to run at PanelProTM startup.
- Time arrival/departure fields in manifests & switch lists are suppressed if all times in the csv file are 00:00.
- Train departure lines are now broken into 2 lines when in 2 column / page mode to better fit into the allotted space.
- At a user’s request, this version of MR SLAM Formatter will suppresses the “no work” comment on manifests if the location has a route location comment. This is to support passenger and other types of trains that need to stop at a location even when there are no locomotive or car movements.
Consult the manual for more details on these exciting new capabilities for MR SLAM Formatter.
Bug fixes
- Fixed a bug in 2 column mode if a train finished at the end of column 1 with insufficient space for the missing car report it errantly went to the next page instead of column 2 on the current page.
- Fixed a bug where the program would hang if the missing car report was larger than a single page. Now the program will handle a missing car report of any size properly.
- Fixed a bug where the text color for car movement lines was not displayed properly on the car preferences page.
Downloaded the new version and it works well with the latest JMRI (4.99.1) and java 11 on a windows 8 machine
