This release is intended to improve the user interface over the previous releases in 3 areas.
- Some users reported that the preferences window in version 1.08 was larger than their screen. This was unintentional. To address this I’ve added vertical & horizontal scroll bars to the preferences, car preferences, & loco preferences windows. The program also resizes the windows automatically if the window is larger than 80% of your screen in either the horizontal or vertical directions.
- Some users said the 3 preference controls to set the logo in the header of documents was confusing. So I cleaned up the interaction of the 3 preference controls that manage the logo in the document header. Now if you select for no logo to be shown, the other two controls are disabled. Similarly if you choose to use the logo from the CSV, the “change logo” button is disabled.
- Similar to the issue above, I cleaned up the interaction of the 2 controls that manage the railroad name appearing on the manifest. Now if you select to use the name from the csv, the “set custom railroad name” button is deactivated.
I really enjoy and appreciate this software and use it almost weekly.
